Loss And selfless love Being a woman of sacrifice and kindness will never make you inferior not any less than any man ,you are above the rest already by freeing your heart from selfishness and with this nothing can stop you from achieving your dreams and being the best version of you!!! Marriage my darlings is no bed of roses ,but marriage is by far the most beautiful blessing Allah has bestowed upon us… Imagine being rewarded for being able to be with the one you love and just smiling or doing things for them is rewarding ,how merciful can our creator be?

How often do we take Thai for granted ,how do we forget this blessing was once a dream or fairytale we prayed for … Nights of loneliness ,days of search.

We become ungrateful to a point of selfishness ,should I advise against marriage or arranged marriages? Marriage is completing half of our iman,it is an act so loved and blessed by our creator. When experienced in the correct manner is such a beauty ,fills your heart with so much contentment. I guess the only time you truely realize a blessing you are given once it has been taken away from u … My parents were married for 25 years ,25 years of ups and downs ,laughter and sorrow ,health and illness.

These sound quite like vows ,but so is life. I am married for almost for 2 years and have never properly understood the values and wisdom of being married till the day I saw my mother lose the love of her life ,her husband ,her best friend ,her partner … I am still very young and have so much to learn but I admit with experience comes wisdom. I had such an expectation as to what marriages should be like and how fairytales are built in glass houses. Reality is scary but also gives you wisdom ….

I grew up with this ideal fairytale ,white dress ,roses and knight in shining armor. My parents were inseparable in their own ways ,my dad was always the only making the jokes and my mum the one being the firm structure and pillar in our home. I watched this day in and day out and how did I not see and learn this is what marriage is about? Than I slowly watched my mum change ,a part of her I had never seen before. What happens now? Did she ever imagine this ,how does she feel?

Helpless …. She stayed strong through it all ,she never let my brother or I ever feel a sense of weakness ,she rose above her own feeing and gave my father strength and hope even when we knew that faith was not in his favor and no medical care could help.

She stood tall and comforted him to a level I could not imagine. How more blessed could he have been to have his wife by his side … Those tiny kisses she gave him when she left the hospital ,the way she shouted him with love to eat his meals. The way she stared at her phone waiting for messaged. She would be up early and rush off to see him and only provide comfort and support. She forgot she was human ,she forgot she had a life ,she forgot she too needed comfort ,she too needed support!

She just selflessly loved him till his last breath. Was this real? Do things like this even exist? Do I have it in me to even be half that person ,how can u love someone so selflessly that you forget u need to be loved. I know she feared losing him and denied that eventually that was going to happen but still how can one love so profoundly that they sacrifice their own existence to become the comfort of another.

Was this for the pleasure of Allah? Was this love so immense that Allah gave her the strength to sacrifice and love so deeply …. They called each other DOLL with love ,we would hear it day in and day out ,doll ,doll ,doll … That word would never be uttered again.

My mum sat her iddat very isolated and only prayed for my dad and spent time with us. Her iddat ended and I realized she will never again be the same woman ,time heals everything ,that is true but time can never teach you to live without your other half. Our lives are taking off and returning to our normal routines ,her life is forever changed. Her love is gone … She is strong ,fierce and full faith and I can say with pride will leave no gap in being an amazing mother and granny but what about her?

Il never be able to answer this ,il never be able to know if there is even an answer. I have used a lot of one significant incident to reflect on a lot of aspects of life but all it takes is one reality check to put things into perspective.

My sisters treasure what you have ,but believe and have faith. If you are single ,married ,divorced or widowed ,know that there is always hope and we should never give up but for those who are despondent and distraught ,jus know that having that significant other breathing and alive is better any day even on the worst of the days than having then 7 feet under and never being able to say the things you want to. I know life can sometimes be unfair and women often have to take the bigger steps and make the most sacrifices ,but my darlings it is worth it ,I assure you it is.

You will never appreciate what you have till you have no choice of having it anymore. Allah has put so much emphasis on the significance and importance of women ,and believe me to feel good you need no validation or acknowledgement!!

Be good and good wil come to you ,sometimes the people you expect the most most acknowledgement from will even forget you deserve a smile , but darling you know your purpose ,you know ur worth and someday you will have no regret for you loved selflessly and someday if ever if someone is taken away from you by faith u will remember these words and find courage and hope in yourself again because you have life all you could and we all deserve happiness but remember ….

Try to appreciate what you have without any animosity and I pray no sister has to feel the regret of being insufficient to a loved one.

I speak from the experience of seeing a couple filled with so much love and so much hope ,that faith is so strong it even shatters its bravest and strongest soldiers.

I still believe even their heart breaking trauma guided me and will someday become a pathway for thousands of women to embrace the route of selfless kindness. There will always be somebody or something … The choice is yours!!!

Rise above!! So be that woman!! Neither does loving selflessly and sacrificing mean you should lose yourself to a point to injustice and unhappiness.

Our religion nor humanity encourages self infliction of misery but neither does it encourage giving up without a fight or quitting without trying. Try not for them but for yourself ,know your strength ,reflect your worth and sparkle with glory for you are a woman! A human with such capabiliy and beauty … And for this world there is nothing that can come in the way of achieving your dreams. Believe me once you fill your heart with love you will be able to achieve your dreams at levels you never imagined ,there is no limit to achieve your dreams and being successful as long as you can be happy deep down while doing this … Love like there is no tomorrow Cry like you want to see a rainbow And smile because you know you are enough!!!

A letter for the mom who has lost her child

Or to be more specific, a friend that will stay by your side, not just your happy days but during your gloomy days as well. So, why is it so hard then? Or what makes it hard actually? Some suspicions are sins. Whereas Allah has clearly stated about it in the Quran that it is important for us to avoid having bad thought, not just to our friends, but to everyone.

Especially those who are so close to us. Do you ever thought how beautiful a friendship will be when both try to avoid bad suspicion? Thus, it will be much more beautiful when we practice it. My following note will be, to appreciate those who stay.

Who literally stays and never leaves your side. Those who know your past but still accepts you. Coz its not who you have known the longest, but its who came and never leave your side.. Silent prayer. How beautiful and easy it is to actually pray the best for someone without their acknowledgement. Whereas, this could already be a form of appreciation where we can pray, may Allah bless and protect this friendship, may Allah reunite us in Jannah Firdaus, may Allah help us to be a good friend for each other..

Additionally, the best friendship is friendship of Rasulullah s. It is so beautiful that this frienship should be the example for us in this era now. A friendship that based on Islam and sunnah of the Prophet, and most importantly, trust and honesty. On a final note, let us strive to be a good friend first before asking Him for one. I always believe and sure that Allah will help those who strive hard for something they want to achieve. What we have to do is, to secure our Faith by surround ourselves with those who, when we are with them, we feel so close to Allah.

In Shaa Allah, from there, He will guide us and grant us a friend, a companion, a brother or sister. Changes start with you, me and us. For good friends are like pearls, so difficult to find, but so easy to let go..

200+ Islamic Love Quotes on Muslim Marriage and Weddings (for Husband & Wife)

Time and again, we lose ourselves in this transient world thinking that we are going to live here forever. As a result, Allah reminds us and shows us signs with the loss of a loved one to show that everything in this world is just temporary. Losing a loved one is undeniably a grief-stricken and devastating moment, especially for the family and close friends. Only those people who have experienced it can truly know the depth of pain it brings when it strikes.

It hurts deep down in the core that sometimes you feel numb with emotion. The Muslim community has a prescribed way in Islam on how to deal with such inconsolable loss—without violating Islamic values. These are the seven pieces of advice that can help. Dua Supplications Duas or supplications are the biggest weapons of a firm believer of Islam and they are unquestionable. Eternal Sakoon facebook Many of us have forgotten the significance of making Duas by thinking that making a Dua is all there is to do when in reality, Duas are our strongest assets to the point that they can possibly alter the decree of Allah to turn out to be another decree.

With this mentality, people tend to get occupied with other acts, thinking that these acts will profit the dead, but they do not. It was never the tradition of the early righteous Muslims to gather after the death on a specific day or visit the grave in order to make Duas for the dead with the perception that they will be more acceptable.

The little things we do can truly be big in the eyes of Allah. Make Duas for the forgiveness of loved ones, especially the children to their parents. There are many ways to make your Dua. However, it should be observed in accordance with the Sunnah; take note that the best Duas are those wordings said by the Prophet.

Sabr Patience Probably one of the hardest attribute to grasp when dealing with the death of a loved is observing patience or Sabr. Death is a test for the believer, as the pain and suffering brings one closer to Allah swt. Often, we forget about the families the deceased left behind—the ones who continue to live with the pain long after the final condolence bouquet has been delivered.

Experiencing the death of a family member is traumatic enough, but to endure inappropriate behavior from other Muslims only prolongs the distress and further isolates the bereaved.

Muslims are people of peace; this should be demonstrated through peaceful actions. Here are five ways to help the families of the deceased and to earn the reward and pleasure of Allah swt : Pray for the deceased and their family.

With love … Till jannah …

Pray that their grave is filled with noor light and the fragrance of Jannah paradiseand to show them their place in Jannah. Pray they are resting peacefully in their graves, and that Allah eases the pain and suffering of the loved ones left behind. Visit the relatives of the deceased.
